History

From February 1, 1963, in the Krestetsky Village Council of the Volkhov District, the settlement of Oleshenka is taken into account.

Since 1965, as part of the Krestetsky Village Council of the Kirishi District. In 1965, the population of the village of Oleshenka was 24 people [2] .

According to administrative data of 1966, Oleshenka was taken into account as a village and was also part of the Krestetsky Village Council [3] .

According to the data from 1973 and 1990, the village of Oleshenka was part of the Budogoshchsky village council [4] [5] .

In 1997, 7 people lived in the village of Oleshenk, Budogoshcha parish, in 2002 - 2 (1 - Russian, 1 - Ukrainian) [6] [7] .

In 2007 and 2010, there was no resident population in the village of Oleshenk, Budogoshchsky GP [8] [9] .

Geography

The village is located in the south-eastern part of the district on the 41K-115 highway ( Kirishi - Budogoshch - Smolino ).

The distance to the administrative center of the settlement is 22 km [8] .

The distance to the nearest railway station Budogoshch is 24 km [3] .

The village is located on the right bank of the river Sharya .
