The Rectoral Church of the Most Holy Savior ( Polish. Kościół Najświętszego Zbawiciela ) is the record church of the Catholic Archdiocese of Lublin in Poland . The temple is located on the northern part of the cemetery on the main avenue, in front of the entrance, on Uniatskaya Street in Lublin. Monument of architecture since May 27, 2014 under the number A / 1627 [1] .

Content
History
After the foundation of a new Catholic cemetery in Uniatskaya Street in 1932, it was decided to build a large cemetery chapel on its territory, which was built from 1934 to 1935. The author of the project was the architect Alexander Gruhalsky . The chapel was lit November 3, 1935. In 1985, it was transformed into the Rector’s Church of the Most Holy Savior. On the outer walls of the temple were installed plates with the names of people, victims of World War II and communist repression from 1939 to 1956. In 2014, the church was included in the list of architectural monuments.
Description
Single nave brick basil in modernism style with elements of national architecture from different historical periods. Steep roof covered with red tiles. In the outline of the tower, an extended projection of the porch and other details of the facade are visible links to the .
The facade of the temple on both sides is decorated with statues of the holy apostles Peter and Paul . The porch is covered with gypsum cladding, stylized as a masonry of Romanesque churches. Porch arcades are similar to , found in old wooden structures. The temple is surrounded by buttresses , like those of the Gothic churches. In the outer part of the apse there is a niche with sculptures that continues the tradition of medieval architecture.
Inside the church is covered with white rough plaster, devoid of architectural decorations. Arches and vaults resemble Romanesque churches. In the presbytery there is a stained glass window depicting the crucified Christ . On the opposite side of the choir on the basis of three arcades .
There are several altars in the church. Above the main altar hangs a picture of the Sacred Heart of Jesus . In one of the side altars are three images: Our Lady , St. Maximilian Maria Kolbe and Blessed . There is a baptistery in the temple with statues of Prince Meshko I and his wife, Princess Dubravka .
