Celia Pavey ( born January 23, 1994), also known as Vera Blue, is an Australian Sydney-based singer based on the label Mercury Records Australia, a sub-label of Universal Music Australia [1] . Her album This Music in July 2013 took 14th place in the Australian Aria Charts [2] . He plays the guitar and violin [3] . Participated in the second season of the Australian version of the show "Voice" .

Career
As Celia Pavey: After participating in the Voice show
While participating in the Australian “Voice” 2013, Celia picked up a guitar and amazed the audience and members of the jury at the audition [4] . Her first music video for a cover version of Simon & Garfunkel ’s duet song “Scarborough Fair / Canticle” gained over 6 million views on the Internet [5] . Released in 2013, This Music debut album took 14th place in Australia.
In 2013, Pavey was nominated by Cosmopolitan for the Fun Fearless Female Awards. [6]
On August 29, 2014, the debut mini-album Bodies [7] was released . The producer was Eric G. Dubrovsky ( Chet Faker , Flume ). The songs were co-written with Tim Hart of Boy & Bear (“Shadow”) and Jack Stone of Bluejuice [8] . In support of the mini-album, Celia conducted a tour along the east coast of Australia [9] .
As Vera Blue
In August 2015, Celia announced that she was launching a new musical project under the pseudonym Vera Blue [10] . Under this name, the release of the Fingertips mini-album was planned, which was supposed to include the songs “Hold” and “Settle” [11] . Vera Blue will also be opening for Conrad Sevell during his 2016 Australian tour. Her single “Hold” reached number 5 on the Spotify viral top 50 chart on the US chart and number 1 on the Australian Australian Viral 50 chart.
