Biography
Kunigund Jacobey is the daughter of Elector Frederick III of Pfalz and his wife Maria Brandenburg-Kulmbakhsky , daughter of Margrave Casimir Brandenburg-Kulmbakhsky [2] . On September 13, 1580, in Dillenburg, Kunigund Jacobey married Count Johann VI of Nassau-Dillenburg , becoming his second wife. The marriage led not only to the political rapprochement of Nassau-Dillenburg with the reformed Palatinate, but also gave impetus to the transition of Count Johann to Calvinism . Kunigunda Jacobey is buried in the Protestant city church of Dillenburg.
