Small hymenopteran insects: body length of females 4.15-4.35 mm. Antenna of females with a mace. It features a narrow strip between the eyes and the base of the antennae. Metascutellum smooth and concave. The body is mostly black. Scapus and legs are yellow. Antennae 12-segmented. The mandibular palps consist of 4 segments, and the labial palps are 2-segmented. In the fore wing, the submarginal vein is distant from the margin and has a very short marginal vein. There is a characteristic frontal depression on the head. The species was first described in 2013 by the American entomologist Roger Barks ( Roger A. Burks , Department of Evolution, Ecology, and Organismal Biology, The Ohio State University, Columbus , Ohio , USA ) [1] [2] .
