Biography
Born on October 1, 1925 in the city of Kovrov, Vladimir province .
In 1948 he graduated from the Moscow Institute of Steel. JV Stalin , having received the qualification of an engineer -metallurgist in the specialty "Foundry of ferrous and non-ferrous metals."
For two years he worked at the Kovrov Excavator Plant as a technologist in the steel shop.
Since 1950, he conducted scientific and pedagogical activities at the Department of Medicine (since 1962 TLP) MIS (MISIS) : graduate student, assistant, associate professor, professor, in 1972-1987 head. chair.
Candidate (1953), Doctor (1971) of technical sciences. The theme of both theses is surface alloying of steel castings.
The author (together with M.K. Sarlin and G. Sh. Akhmetov) of a unique technology for the production of cast iron molds with a ceramic-metal working surface layer. Together with employees and students (N. S. Bespalov, V.I. Vorontsov) he created an original technique for decanting crystallizing melt.
Co-author and editor of the textbook "Foundry" (1971, 1987).
Rewards
For researching the process of filtration refining of metal melts, he was awarded the Prize of the USSR Council of Ministers.
He was awarded the orders of the Red Banner of Labor (1980) and the Badge of Honor (1967), medals "In Honor of the Centenary of the Birth of V. I. Lenin", "For the Victory over Germany."
