Geography
The village is located on the Tanzut River, 13 km southeast of the city of Vanadzor .
History
The village of Voskresenovka was formed in 1844 by Russian Molokan settlers from the Morshansk district of the Tambov province. The Molokans from the Saratov province later shared [1] .
