Club career
Adrian Nikci started playing football at the Swiss club Uster . In January 2002, he moved to Zurich . In the 2008/09 season, he was included in the club’s main team and played 34 matches that season and scored 4 goals, while Zurich became the Swiss champion. He scored the first goal for Zurich in the framework of the Swiss Cup 2008/09 , this was the only goal in the away match against Schaffhausen [2] . In the Super League, he first scored on March 8, 2009 in a away game against Lucerne . At the same time, Nikci made a double in the very ending, making the main contribution to the strong-willed victory of his team [3] . Nicci played for Zurich in European competitions, and he scored the first goal as part of the qualification of the UEFA Champions League 2009/10 , bringing the score to a crushing one in a guest match against the Slovenian Maribor [4] .
In the summer of 2012, for 600 thousand euros Nikci moved to the German " Hannover 96 " [5] . In the German Bundesliga, Nikci made his debut on August 26, 2012 in a home match against Schalke 04 , in which he also scored for the first time, equalizing in the 80th minute [6] . In late September, Nikci was taken to a hospital where he was diagnosed with meningitis [7] . The footballer was discharged 2 weeks later. Due to a number of injuries and illnesses, Nikci played few matches for the team, and in January 2014, the new Hannover 96 mentor Typhoon Korkut completely sent him into the double, believing that he did not train well [8] .
