Biography

His father left the family when Culio was two years old, at the age of eight, he and his mother moved to Compton. One of four children, he had asthma, and from early childhood he learned to take care of himself. When he was a child, his mother called him "Boo", he even made a tattoo "Boo" in the eighth grade. He got his nickname while in Compton. When playing the guitar, a friend approached him and said: “Who do you think you are, Culio Iglesias?”, - so the nickname stuck. He visited the library, was well-read. He met his 18th birthday in prison, where he was imprisoned for ten months for theft. After graduation, he entered Compton Community College. By 1985, he was addicted to cocaine, went to the north in San Jose to his father, got a job in the California Department of Forestry in putting out fires in the mountains, where he spent 18 months. Upon his return, he was interrupted by casual earnings, including at Los Angeles International Airport. From a brain hemorrhage in 1987, his mother dies. Many have suggested that Culio was a member of the Los Angeles Corner Pocket Crips street gang, [1] however he was actually from Mona Park Compton Crips. [2]
