Biography

She was born on May 7, 1916 in a peasant family in the village of Berezan (today - the city of Berezan, Kiev region). Received secondary special education.

Since 1958, she worked as a weaver of the Darnitsky silk factory named after the 60th anniversary of the Great October Socialist Revolution in Kiev. It has achieved significant success in fulfilling and overfulfilling production plans and socialist obligations. She was the initiator of the movement for expanding the service area of machine tools and introducing advanced labor methods. At the beginning of 1976, together with weavers Anna Zolotova and Praskovya Volkovinskaya, she joined the socialist competition for a worthy meeting at the 25th CPSU Congress. A group of these weavers has been obliged since February 1976 to master 104 looms with an industry norm of 40 looms. On May 19, 1976, weavers reported to the Central Committee of the Communist Party on the fulfillment of their obligation. This labor achievement was the highest indicator in the textile industry of the USSR [1] .

In 1976 she was awarded the USSR State Prize “for improving labor processes, expanding service areas, combining professions, introducing advanced labor methods” and in 1977 - the title of Hero of Socialist Labor for outstanding labor achievements.

In 1977 she joined the Communist Party. She was elected as a deputy of the Supreme Council of the Ukrainian SSR 10-11 convocations.
