Les films du losange

The company was founded after failure to rent the first full-length film of Romer "The Sign of the Lion" , the distribution of which was entrusted to the company of Jean-Luc Godard . In order not to depend on producers or distributors in the future, Romer and Schroeder created their own anonymous society.

The company has contributed to the success of the New Wave cinema. Her catalog consists of more than one hundred films, including most of the paintings by Romer, the tape Schroeder, Jacques Rivett , Jean-Claude Brissot , Roger Planchon , Michael Haneke , Jacques Duillon , Romain Gupil and Jean-Marc Mutu .

In addition to production, Les Films du Losange is engaged in rental, in particular, produces in France paintings by Lars von Trier .

Since 1975, Margaret Menegos has led the company instead of Barbe Schroeder.
