Adrianna Jean Bertola is a British young actress and singer. Best known for her participation in the musicals “ Sounds of Music ”, where she played the role of Gretl, participating in the television series “ Accident ”, where she played Sharis Brooks. From May 22 to November 12, 2013 she played the role of Violet Buyegart in the musical Charlie and the Chocolate Factory .

Career

Adrianna was born on January 9, 1999 in Southend-on-Sea , in the family of Darren and Shana Bertola [3] . Bertola's debut on stage took place in the musical “ Sounds of Music ”, where she successfully played the role of Gretl von Trapp, after which the young actress entered the Morgan Academy for Performing arts [4] . Later, Bertola participated in the musical Les Miserables , playing the role of young Cosette [5] and starring in the 23-episode medical drama Accident , where she played the role of Sharis Brooks. In 2010, Bertola starred as Matilda in the musical Matilda [6] , along with Kerry Igra and Josie Griffiths [7] . In addition to playing roles in various films, Adrianna sang the song “Quiet” to the soundtrack of the film of the same name based on the musical, the song, in turn, received favorable reviews from critics [8] [9] . However, due to her career growth, Bertola was unable to find time to perform on the West End stage [10] . In 2011, Bertola played the role of Brigitte von Trapp on a tour of the musical Sounds of Music . She took part in the filming of the music video of Jesse Jay - “ Who's Laughing Now ”, where she played the role of Jesse at a young age. Subsequently, she received the nickname "Mini Jesse Jay" [11] [12] . Bertola currently plays at the Sylvia Young Theater School . Until the end of her contract on November 12, 2013, she played in the West End musical “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” on the stage of the Royal Theater on Drury Lane .
