Biography
Player Career
He began his career in the championship teams of the Lithuanian SSR , then played in the top and first divisions of the independent championship of Lithuania and in Hungarian clubs.
On November 15, 1991, he made his debut with the Lithuanian national team in the match of the Baltic Cup against Estonia, in the same game he scored his only goal for the national team. In total, in 1991-1993 he played 14 matches for the national team, including 4 qualifying matches of the World Cup, 4 matches of the Baltic Cup and 6 friendly games.
Coach Career
Since 2003 he has been working as a trainer. He began his independent coaching career in 2008 at the Ekranas club, with which he won five league titles, and in 2012/13 he brought the team to the group stage of the Champions League. In 2008, 2011 and 2012 he was recognized as the best coach of Lithuania.
Since December 2014, he headed the Trakai club; in 2015, he won the silver of the Lithuanian Championship.
