Plobsheim ( French: Plobsheim ) is a commune in the northeast of France in the Grand Est region [1] (former Alsace - Champagne - Ardennes - Lorraine ), department of the Lower Rhine , Strasbourg district , canton of Ilkirsh-Graffenstaden [2] . Until March 2015, the commune was administratively part of the abolished canton of Geispolsheim ( Strasbourg-Campan district).

Economics
In 2010, out of 2612 people of working age (from 15 to 64 years old), 1967 were economically active , 645 were inactive (activity indicator 75.3%, in 1999 - 74.8%). Out of 1967 active working-age residents, 1854 people worked (977 men and 877 women), 113 were unemployed (55 men and 58 women). Among 645 able-bodied inactive citizens, 229 were pupils or students , 280 were pensioners , and another 136 were inactive for other reasons [9] [10] .
