Petrovo is a village in the Stupinsky district of the Moscow region as part of the City settlement Zhilyovo (until 2006, it was part of the Novoselkovsky rural district [2] ). For 2016 in Petrovo there are 9 streets, a boarding house Zarya and 1 garden community [3] , the village is connected by bus with the district center [4] .

Petrovo is located in the central part of the region, on both banks of the Kashirka River, at the mouth of the Berezinka River , the height of the village center above sea level is 129 m [4] . The nearest settlements: the village of Kolychevo - about 1.5 km to the north-west and the Renaissance - about 2 km to the south.
