Biography
A member of the De Castro family, took the surname Grimaldi during the reform of the nobility in Genoa in 1528 . Very little information has been preserved about him; it is assumed that he was born in Genoa.
March 1, 1605 was elected Doge, the 85th in the history of the republic. At the end of the term - March 2, 1607 - he was appointed life prosecutor.
Allegedly died in Genoa in 1611 .
