Kremenchug Wheel Plant ( Ukrainian: Kremenchutsk Wheel Plant ) is the only specialized industrial enterprise in Ukraine producing cold-pressed steel wheels for cars and agricultural machinery [1] .

Content
History
The company was established in 1961 on the basis of the workshop of the Kremenchug Automobile Plant and specialized in the production of wheels for cars, tractors, combines and Soviet-made agricultural machines.
In 1994, the plant was transformed into an open joint stock company.
In June 1996, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine decided to privatize the plant in accordance with the individual plan for the privatization of the enterprise [2] .
In August 1997, the plant was included in the list of enterprises of strategic importance for the economy and security of Ukraine [3] , but already in June 1998, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine decided to leave state control of the enterprise (25% + 1 share) and allow privatization of the plant [4] .
In April 1999, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine decided to sell the remaining state-owned controlling interest in the amount of 25% of the company’s shares [5] .
In February 2002, the company became a full member of the European Technical Organization for Tires, Rims and Rims (ETRTO) and became a member of the European Wheel Manufacturers Association (EUWA) [6] .
In 2003, the plant mastered the production of 13-inch stamped wheels for passenger cars of the VAZ-2110 and Daewoo Lanos models [7] .
In 2004, the plant produced about 35 million units of wheels, in 2005 it increased production by 5.6% and completed 2005 with a net profit of 285 million hryvnias. By the beginning of 2006, the plant mastered the production of 155 modifications of wheels, rims and wheel parts [8] .
In 2006, the plant manufactured 4,488.74 thousand units of wheeled products and ended 2006 with a net profit of 22.99 million hryvnias; in 2007, the plant completed with a net profit of 25 105.7 thousand hryvnias [9] .
In January 2008, during the modernization of production facilities, the plant installed a line for painting the wheels using a cataphoresis method manufactured by the Danish company Ideal-engineering a / s with a capacity of 300 thousand wheels per year [10] .
The economic crisis that began in 2008 and the entry of Ukraine into the WTO on May 16, 2008 complicated the situation of the plant (due to the reduction in production volumes, in the fall of 2008 the plant temporarily switched to part-time work) [1] .
In 2009, the plant produced 1528.67 thousand units of wheeled products (41.4% less than in 2008), but in 2010 the position of the enterprise stabilized, production increased [11] and the plant finished 2010 with a net profit of 29.944 million hryvnias. KrKZ finished 2011 with a net profit of 17.893 million hryvnias [12] .
In 2013, the plant produced 2.404 million units of wheeled products; in 2014, production volumes decreased by 26.7% - in 2014, the plant produced 1.761 million units of wheeled products [13] .
In 2015, the plant reduced production by 24.6% compared to 2014 - to 1.328 million units of wheeled products [14] .
In 2016, the plant reduced production by 30.8% compared to 2015 - to 918.85 thousand units. wheeled products [15] .
Current status
Kremenchug Wheel Plant produces more than 500 types of wheels, rims and parts, the main products are steel wheels for cars, rims for trailers and vans, rims for trucks and agricultural machinery, as well as a wide range of parts for steel wheels (rings, wheel blanks, flanges and other). The production capacity of the plant is designed to produce more than 6 million wheels and wheels per year.
