Biography
Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan was born on April 12, 1954 in the Hong Kong County of Benche Province in Vietnam .
She was Minister of Finance, Head of the State Treasury, and then First Deputy Prime Minister from 2006 to 2016 .
On March 31, 2016, the National Assembly of Vietnam approved Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan as chairman of the parliament.
At the congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam in 2015 , she was one of the four “key leaders” of Vietnam, along with party secretary general Nguyen Phu Chong , president Chiang Dai Quang and Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Suan Fook .
