Biography
Born into a peasant family.
He graduated from the Leningrad Engineering College, in absentia Higher Party School at the Central Committee of the CPSU (b) . Member of the CPSU (b) since 1941.
In 1942–1943, he worked as head of the working youth department of the Central Committee of the Komsomol of the Karelian-Finnish SSR .
In 1943-1947 - Instructor of the Central Committee of the Communist Party (Bolsheviks) of the Karelian-Finnish SSR , 1947-1950 - Head of the Department of the Petrozavodsk City Committee of the CPSU (b).
In 1950 - First Secretary of the Kalevalsky District Committee of the CPSU (b).
In 1950-1953 - Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Karelian-Finnish SSR.
In 1954–1963 - chairman of the Pryazha regional executive committee.
He was elected a deputy to the Supreme Council of the Karelian-Finnish SSR of the III and IV convocations , the Supreme Council of the Karelian Autonomous SSR of the V-VII convocations .
