The Zygon Terror series was originally planned as the final of season 12 (then it was called Loch Ness), but was later postponed to the summer of 1975 and became the premiere of the new, season 13. Also this season, for the first time in the history of the show, a break was introduced during the winter holidays (three weeks passed between the premiere date of the last episode of the Android Invasion series and the premiere date of the Morbius Brain series).
