Dushanbe districts - the name of the administrative-territorial units of the city of Dushanbe .
The city of Dushanbe is the only city with regional division in Tajikistan, and in this regard, its Council of People’s Deputies and the Executive Power ( Hukumat ) have regional status in the context of the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On Local Government”. Executive power in the districts of the capital is represented by the chairmen of the districts. The Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On the status of the capital of the Republic of Tajikistan” defines the organizational, legal, economic and social conditions for the implementation of the functions of the capital of Tajikistan by the city of Dushanbe. On July 18, 2013, plans were announced to triple the territory of Dushanbe [2] .
Dushanbe is divided into 4 districts, each of which has its own administration ( district hukumat ):
