Vasilisino (platform)

Vasilisino is a stopping point / passenger platform of the Smolensk (Belarusian) direction of the Moscow railway in the Gagarinsky district of the Smolensk region . It consists of two low platforms connected only by flooring through the paths. Not equipped with turnstiles. Long-distance trains on the platform to stop.

Content

History

The platform was opened in 1879 . Named in honor of Vasilisa Kozhina , rural old-age and heroine of the Patriotic War of 1812. During the Great Patriotic War, the station was occupied by the Nazi troops in October 1941 , liberated in March 1943. [3]

On the platform, 3 pairs of trains Borodino - Vyazma and two pairs of trains Mozhaysk - Vyazma stop.
