Content
Geography
The village is located near the North Caucasus Railway, in the north-eastern part of the Mozdok district . It is located 10 km north-east of the regional center of Mozdok and 130 km north of the city of Vladikavkaz .
It borders the lands of the settlements: Komarovo , in the south, Vesyoloe in the northwest, and Friendship in the southeast.
The village is located on the eastern edge of the inclined Kabardian plain. The terrain is mostly flat, without sharp fluctuations in relative heights. Average altitudes are about 131 meters above sea level.
The climate is humid and temperate. The average annual air temperature is + 10.5 ° С. Air temperature on average ranges from + 23.5 ° C in July, to -2.8 ° C in January. The average annual rainfall is about 520 mm. Most rainfall occurs between May and July. At the end of summer, dry winds blowing from the territory of the Caspian lowland are frequent .
History
The village was founded in the 1930s from a part of the village of Komarovo located near the railway.
Now the village continues to be actually part of the village of Komarovo and is distant from it only by Zheleznodorozhnaya Street.
