Podlesny, Sergey Antonovich

Born on January 10, 1942 in Krasnoyarsk ^{[1] [2]} .

With a gold medal, he graduated from high school No. 33 (now gymnasium No. 2) of Krasnoyarsk and entered the Krasnoyarsk Pedagogical Institute ^{[2] [3]} .

In March 1961 he transferred to the Krasnoyarsk Polytechnic Institute , where he graduated with honors in 1965 with a degree in Design and Production Technology of Radio Equipment ^{[1] [2] [4] [5]} .

He graduated from the graduate school of the Krasnoyarsk Polytechnic Institute and defended his thesis for the degree of candidate of technical sciences ^{[1] [4] [5]} .

He has gone from engineer of the department of computer engineering, senior teacher, associate professor, head of department, dean of the faculty, vice-rector for academic affairs and first vice-rector of the Krasnoyarsk Polytechnic Institute ^{[1] [4]} .

In 1996 - 2006 - rector of the Krasnoyarsk State Technical University ^{[2] [4]} .

In 2007 - 2011 - Vice-rector for magistracy and the territorial educational network of the Siberian Federal University ^{[2] [4]} .

Since 2011 - Advisor to the Rector of the Siberian Federal University ^{[4] [5]} .

Director of the Leading Scientific and Educational Center "Informatics, Information Technologies and Management" (VNOTS IITU) of the Siberian Federal University.

Member of the Association for Engineering Education of Russia, full member of the Academy of Quality Problems, full member of the Academy of Informatization of Education, full member of the International Academy of Higher Education Sciences, full member of the Academy of Economic Security, full member of the International Academy of Informatization , member of the Krasnoyarsk Regional Union of Scientific and Engineering Associations ^{[1] [ 4] [5]} .

Chairman of the Krasnoyarsk regional branch of the Association for Engineering Education of Russia, member of the Board of the Russian Academy of Higher Education Sciences, chairman of the Krasnoyarsk regional branch of the International Academy of Higher Education Sciences, member of the board of the Educational and Methodological Association for Education in Radio Engineering, Electronics, Biomedical Engineering and Automation, president of the Krasnoyarsk Regional Union scientific and engineering organizations, member of the editorial board of the journal " Engineering Education of Russia " ^{[1] [4] [5]} .

The author of 250 scientific and educational publications, including 2 monographs and 3 study guides ^[5] .

He was married, has a son and four grandchildren ^[1] . He was fond of literature, classical music and theater. ^[6]

He died on June 25, 2017 after a long illness.
