History
Since 1627 the church has been wooden. In 1722, a stone one was built on the site of a dilapidated wooden church. In 1878, a chapel was added to the temple and a bell tower was erected; in 1895, the refectory was designed by the architect M.K. Priorov [1] . In 1938 the temple was closed. In 1941, the upper tiers of the bell tower were demolished to prevent the use of the bell tower by German pilots as a guideline for raids on Moscow. During the Soviet era, the Metalist factory was located in the temple building. In the autumn of 1990, the restoration of the temple began at the expense of believers in the area. In 1991, on the Easter holiday, the first chapel of the temple was consecrated and the service began.
