Biography
Born in 1904 in a peasant family in the village of Gudymovka (today - Lebedinsky district of Sumy region). Since 1921 - Chairman of the Mutual Assistance Committee, Chairman of the Village Council. He occupied various governing bodies of the Lebedinsky district. He was the chairman of the executive committee of the district council in the Ternopil region. He participated in the Great Patriotic War. After demobilization, he was elected chairman of the collective farm "Soviet village" of the Lebedinsky district. He was in this position until 1966.
In 1947, the Sovetskoye Selo collective farm collected an average of 42 centners of wheat and 30 centners of rye per hectare. For these outstanding labor achievements, in 1948 he was awarded the title Hero of Socialist Labor. In 1950, the average grain yield was 24.5 centners and in 1959, 26.8 centners per hectare. According to the results of the socialist competition, the collective farm received the Red Banner of the KPU District Committee.
Under his leadership, 13 settlements of the Lebedinsky district were electrified.
He died on November 14, 1967 in the village of Kalyuzhnoye, Lebedinsky District.
