Geography
The river originates on the southern slopes of the Tien Shan and flows south, flowing into the valley, and then turns east and flows between the main chain of the Tien Shan and the Cheltag ridge through the Bai district , where the Kyzyl reservoir was created on the river at the confluence of Kyzylsu. Then the river turns southeast, crossing the Cheltag, and in the districts of Kucha , Toksu and Shakhyar, its waters are disassembled through numerous irrigation canals.
