The Staroruz rural district is an abolished administrative-territorial unit that existed on the territory of the Ruza district of the Moscow region in 1994-2006.

The Old Russian Village Council was formed in the first years of Soviet power. According to 1923, he was part of the Ruzsky volost of the Mozhaisk district of Moscow province .
In 1927, Vasilyevsky, Vrazhsky and Nesterovsky s / s were separated from Staroruz s / s [2] .
In 1926, Staroruz s / s included the villages of Nesterovo and Staraya Ruza , the villages of Vasilyevskoye, Vertoshino , Vrazheskoye , Glukhovo , Krasotino , Pisarevo and Ustye , as well as 4 farmsteads, a forestry unit, a branch of Gubsotsstrakh, a school and a gatehouse [3] .
In 1929, Staroruz s / s was assigned to the Ruzsky district of the Moscow district of the Moscow region. At the same time, Vrazhsky, Kozhinsky and Nesterovsky s / s were attached to it.
On December 28, 1951, the village of Vorontsovo was transferred from Oreshkinsky s / s to Staroruzsky.
On June 14, 1954, Pokrovsky s / s was attached to Nikolsky s / s .
On May 21, 1959, the villages of Varlygino, Gorbovo , Gorodilovo , Lukino , Rumyantsevo , the villages of the Gorbovsky factory, the subsidiary farm of the 1st watch factory and the subsidiary farm of the leather goods factory were transferred from the Vatulinsky s / s to Staroruzsky.
On July 31, 1959, the villages of Beloborodovo , Botino , Danilovka, Dubrovka, Kartino, Kozhino , Mars , Moiseevo, Mukhanikha, Mukhino, Sukharevo , residential settlements and the territory of the plant of silicate and reinforced concrete products and the plant of reinforced concrete structures of the abolished Morevsky were added to the Staroruz s / s / s
On December 12, 1959, the village of Mukhino was transferred from the Staroruz s / s to the line of the working village of Tuchkovo , and the villages of Danilovka, Dubrovka, Kartino and Truteevo, as well as the territories of the pioneer camps Metrostroy and VDNH, were transferred to its administrative subordination.
On February 1, 1963, the Ruzsky district was abolished and the Staroruz s / s entered the Mozhaisky rural district . On January 11, 1965, Staroruz s / s was returned to the restored Ruzsky district.
On February 3, 1994, the Staroruz s / s was transformed into the Staroruz rural district .
February 5, 1996 from Staroruz s / o to hell r.p. Tuchkovo was transferred to the village of Moseevo.
On May 12, 2004, in the Staroruz s / o, the subsidiary farm of the 2nd Moscow Watch Factory was renamed the village of Staroteryaevo [4] .
During the 2004β2005 municipal reform, the Staroruz rural district ceased to exist as a municipal unit. At the same time, all of its settlements were transferred to the rural settlement of Staroruz [5] .
November 29, 2006 Staroruz rural district was excluded from the accounting data of the administrative-territorial and territorial units of the Moscow region [6] .
