The administrative center was the village of Karmanovo .
Content
Geography
Located in the east of the county. Bordered on Fatezhsky district . From the south and east it was surrounded by Mikhailovsky volost . It also bordered on the Generalshinsky volost (in the south), the Kilikinsky volost (in the west) and the Fokinsky volost (in the southwest) [1] .
Currently, the territory on which the volost was located is the southwestern part of the Zheleznogorsk district .
