Bereznya is a village in the Stupinsky district of the Moscow region as part of the City settlement Zhilyovo (until 2006, it was part of the Novoselkovsky rural district [2] ). For 2016, in Berezna there are 2 streets - Vesyolaya and Otradnaya and 2 garden associations [3] , the village is connected by bus with the district center and neighboring settlements. For the first time in historical documents, as Berezinki , mentioned in 1577, Bereznya - since 1862 [4] .

Bereznya is located in the central part of the district, at the source of the Berezynka River, the right tributary of the Kashirka River, the height of the center of the village above sea level is 177 m [4] . The nearest town - Zhilevo - about 0.5 km to the east, lower in the river.
