Griva is a village in the Drachkovsky Village Council , 32 km south of the city of Smolevichi , 42 km from Minsk , on the river. Vozha (tributary of the Volma river ).

As part of the Russian Empire
In 1800 - a village, 23 yards, 152 residents, the property of the Lyadensky Basilian monastery , in the Igumen district of the Minsk province . In 1858, the village was the property of the treasury. In November 1864, residents made an unauthorized carving of the landowner's forest. According to the census of 1897 - a village in the state forest of Smilovichi volost, 40 yards, 237 residents. At the beginning of the XX century - 52 yards, 287 inhabitants.
After 1917
In 1917 - 65 yards, 368 residents. From February to December 1918, it was occupied by the troops of Kaiser Germany , from August 1919 to July 1920 - by the troops of Poland . Since 1919 - in the BSSR . Since 1924 - in the Drachkovsky village council . In 1926 - 76 yards, 352 residents. In 1930, the Zvezda collective farm was created. From the end of June 1941 to the beginning of July 1944, it was occupied by German-Nazi troops . In 1959, 384 residents lived. In 1988, there were 110 farms, 220 residents, a shop, a livestock farm, as part of the Zagorye state farm.
Currently
In 1996, there were 90 households, 176 inhabitants. In 2013, there were 48 households, 101 residents [1] .
