Biography
Born in the family of a poor peasant. He began working as a fourteen-year-old teenager at the White Coal state farm in the Stavropol Territory, where he and his family were evacuated at the beginning of World War II.
Since 1946, Dmitry Rashkulev worked as an instructor, and then head of the personnel department of the Vulcanesti district committee of the Komsomol, director of the House of Pioneers. In 1950 he was drafted into the ranks of the Soviet Army. After demobilization, he worked as an instructor in the Vulcanesti Republic of Kazakhstan Communist Party of Moldova, secretary of the party organization of the Chismikioi MTS, chairman of the collective farm named after K. Marx, Vulcanesti district.
In 1960, Dmitry Kharlampievich was elected chairman of the Giant collective farm in the same region. Over 12 years of work as chairman of this largest farm in the region, he proved himself to be an initiative and skillful organizer of agricultural production. Dmitry Kharlampievich constantly showed concern for improving the culture of agriculture, introducing the achievements of science and best practices into production. The collective farm "Giant" under the leadership of Rashkulev became one of the richest farms in the MSSR.
Rewards
By a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of April 8, 1971, for high successes in the development of agricultural production, Dmitry Kharlampievich Rashkulev was awarded the title Hero of Socialist Labor with the award of the Order of Lenin and the Gold Medal "Hammer and Sickle." Dmitry Rashkulev was also awarded the Order of Lenin and the Order of the October Revolution, the medal "For Valiant Labor".
