Biography
Born on September 15, 1931 in the village of Glebovka, Stanovlyansky District, Lipetsk Region, in a large peasant family. He graduated from the city high school in the city of Yelets . In 1955 he graduated from the Geological Survey Faculty of the Leningrad Mining Institute and began working in geological exploration expeditions, traveling throughout the country. In 1963 the first book “Through a Blizzard” was published, dedicated to the well-known geologist N. N. Urvantsev [1] .
