About the album
Moving away from the new romance of the previous album New Gold Dream (81/82/83/84) , the musicians began to move further towards the so-called stadium rock , more characteristic of the U2 group (the team will work for the next 10 years, until the album Neapolis ) The commercial success of the aforementioned album inspired the Scots very much - so the sound of new songs became more mature and life-affirming, which was noted both by critics and listeners who noted the musical growth of the group. Starting from this longplay, drummer Mel Gaynor becomes an official member of the group (before that he worked with the group in session, participating only in recording sessions and concerts).
