Biography
Sunny was born on May 26, 1993 in Lohja . Her mother worked as an entrepreneurial coach, her stepfather worked as a director of a kindergarten, and her father was an electrician. Sunny started singing from an early age. From the age of six, Sunny began to play the violin, and when she was in the sixth grade, she sang in various school amateur groups. In 2001, Sunny won the national competition for writing fairy tales Napero Finlandia , with her fairy tale Lintu, joka halusi laulaa ( Russian Bird who wanted to sing ) [1] . In 2009, Sunny took second place in the competition Ääni ja vimma . Sunny moves from Lohja to Helsinki at 16 and enters Sibelius Music High School, which she graduated in the spring of 2012.
Career
In 2012, Sunny began her career as an actress in the comedy Miss Farkku-Suomi (elokuva) , where she plays a major role. Sunny was a guest guest in the song of rapper Aste Pumppaa ( Russian Pump ).
In April 2013, Sunny released her first song Prinsessoja ja astronautteja ( Russian Princesses and Cosmonauts ) under the direction of Warner Music Finland. This song becomes a hit in the national charts. In June of that year, Sunny released another hit, Jos mä oon oikee ( Russian. If I'm Real ). In September of that year, Sunny released another hit Me ei olla enää me ( Rus. We will no longer be ). In the same month, the debut album Sotke mut ( Rus. Mess ) is released.
In 2015, another Lelu album ( Rus. Toy ) is released. The first song from this album was 2080-luvulla ( Rus. 2080s ), which becomes a hit of all the charts of Finland and becomes a playable hit in the entire history of radio in Finland [2] . The second song was Pojat ( Rus. Boys ), which ranked 68th on the national chart. In early 2016, Sunny won the nominations for Best Singer of the Year and Best Song of the Year at the Emma-gaala Award.
Sunny is currently recording a new album, which will appear in 2016.
