Lambeosaurini

Lambeosaurini (Latin) is a tribe of herbivorous dinosaurs from the subfamily Lambeosaurine of the hadrosaurid family from the Upper Cretaceous (about 73–65.5 Ma) in Asia , Europe and North America . The tribe was introduced in 1923 by William Parks along with the first description of the lambaeosaurus . Lambeosaurini is defined as Lambeosaurus lambei and all taxa are more closely related than Parasaurolophus walkeri , Tsintaosaurus spinorhinus or Aralosaurus tuberiferus . In scientific papers, I put Koritosaurus - Lambaeosaurus was often called Corythosaurini, although this name did not receive an official definition and diagnosis [1] .

Description

Koritosaurus Reconstruction ( Corythosaurus )

Lambeosaurini are diagnosed according to the following features: a vertical groove on the lateral process of the premaxilla, located rostralno to the dorsal process of the jawbone and extending ventrally from the small gap between the medial and lateral premaxillary processes; vertical groove bounded by rostral triangular ventral protrusion of the lateral process of the premaxilla; the articular surface of the frontal bone with the nasal is shaped like a platform, rotated rostroventrally; the vestibule of the nasal bone is folded S-shaped into closed premaxillary passages located rostrally to the dorsal process of the jawbone; the lateral premaxillary process extends caudodorsally to the prefrontal bone in adults [1] .
