Uzdra is a small river in the north of the Velsk district of the Arkhangelsk region of Russia , the left tributary of Puy .

Length - 18 km, catchment area - 145 km². [2] .
Uzdra originates 14 kilometers north of the village of Malaya Lipovka . Throughout it flows to the south, taking in many forest streams. In the lower reaches, in the valley of Puy, the river greatly slows down its course and forms many loops . It flows into the river Puya 114 km from its mouth on the left bank.
Settlements
There are no settlements on the river, only at the confluence with Pui there is a village of the Lipovskoye municipality Mikhailovka .
Near the mouth of Uzdra was located Uzdrinsk female desert , operating from the 1880s to 1920s. In the desert, the wooden Church of the Nativity of John the Baptist and the building of monastic cells were built. In 1910, up to 30 sisters lived here. By the middle of the twentieth century, all buildings were demolished. [3] .
