The name was given on December 1, 1967 in honor of the writer I. I. Panaev , who lived at a country house in neighboring Mordvinovka in 1854-1858 [1] . At his dacha, there lived a French novelist A. Dumas the Father , after whom a larger street was named, Dumas Street [2] .
