The national emblem of the Republic of Kazakhstan is an image of a shanyrak (the upper vaulted part of the yurt ) against a blue background, from which the ears (supports) diverge in all directions in the form of sunlight in the frame of the wings of mythical horses (tulpars) between which there is a five-pointed star. At the bottom of the coat of arms is the inscription “QAZAQSTAN” .
In the color image, the State Emblem of the Republic of Kazakhstan - two colors: gold and blue-blue.
The term "coat of arms", which is widely used today , comes from the German word "erbe" (Erbe). Translated into Kazakh, it means the concept of " tanba " (tamga, sign). For the first time, this term began to be used in the ancient Turkic Kaganate ( 552-603 ).
Today's emblem of sovereign Kazakhstan is the result of tremendous work and creative research of two famous architects: Zhandarbek Malibekov and Shot-Aman Ualikhanov . The final competition was attended by 245 projects and 67 descriptions of the future coat of arms.
Coat of arms details
The image of the shanyrak - the upper vaulted domed part of the yurt - in the national emblem of the republic is an image of the common house of all people living in Kazakhstan. Happiness in it depends on the well-being of everyone, just as the strength of a shanyrak depends on the reliability of his skills (supports). Shanyrak not only in form resembles a heavenly dome, but also in reflection in the minds of people is one of the important elements of a life arrangement. Shanyrak is a symbol of the father’s house, and in a broader sense, the world as a universe. And the transverse arches inside the shanyrak - kuldereush, mean the unity of the three zhuzs [1] .
The coat of arms depicts Tulpar - a mythical horse with wings. The same horses adorn the helmet of the Issyk Golden Man . The wings symbolize the dream of building a strong, prosperous state. They also testify to pure thoughts and the desire to improve and achieve harmony in society, with nature and world civilization. Two mythical horses are depicted in the state emblem of the republic, and they seem to protect the shanyrak from two sides. They also vividly express the idea of serving a common home - the Motherland. Protecting the Motherland as the apple of an eye and faithfully serving it is one of the important keynotes inherent in the images of mythical horses.
Another detail in the state emblem of the republic is a five-pointed star . This symbol has been used by mankind since ancient times and personifies the constant desire of people for the light of truth, for everything sublime and eternal. The image of a star in the national emblem reflects the desire of Kazakhstanis to create a country open for cooperation and partnership with all peoples of the world. The hearts and hugs of the people of Kazakhstan are open to representatives of all five continents.
