Uklon is the first service in Ukraine to call a car via the Internet. Uklon allows you to book a car through the application from a smartphone or on an Internet site, without making phone calls to dispatch services. According to some estimates, it belongs to the leaders in the country [1] [2] [3] [4] .

Uklon itself is not a taxi service, it is an order aggregator that distributes calls between taxi drivers. Passenger transportation services are mainly provided by taxi dispatch services [5] .
As of October 2019, the service operates in Kiev , Odessa , Kharkov , Dnipro , Lviv , Zaporozhye , Vinnitsa , Sumy , Poltava , Chernihiv , Krivoy Rog , Nikolaev , White Church , Mariupol [6] .

Creation History
The idea of creating the service arose at the end of 2009 at the then student of the Kiev-Mohyla Academy Vitaly Dyatlenko.
“I remember once on Friday sitting with a friend and thinking: why you can order pizza or beer online, but you can’t call a taxi. Taxi services then sat with us in neighboring offices. The service directors, of course, were initially skeptical at that, but were not opposed to try: extra orders never hurt, ”- Vitaliy Dyatlenko, founder of Uklon [5]
The development of the service began at the end of 2009, and on March 25, 2010 the first order was made through Uklon [5] . In the same year, an application for mobile phones was released, and in 2011 for smartphones. In 2012, the first application for the Android mobile operating system was launched, and in 2013, for iOS [7] . Now the service works on all popular mobile platforms: Android , Windows Mobile , iOS , Java , Symbian .
How the service works
To order a car you need to install a special application on your mobile phone or go to uklon.com.ua. After the user makes an order, they are seen by dispatching services, which in turn distribute calls between drivers. The first order to see those drivers and services that have a higher rating by users of the service [7] .
The passenger can pay in cash or by credit card - the cashless payment option [8] appeared in the app in August 2016. Also, from July 5 , 2019 at Uklon, you can pay with Google Pay .
Additional features
When ordering a car through the Uklon.ua service, the user can choose one or several additional options: determine the class of the car, order the services “courier”, “English-speaking driver”, the presence of a child seat, air conditioning, the ability to transport additional baggage in the cabin, and others. Also, the passenger can track the movement of the car in real time through the application from a smartphone [4] .
Rates
The company focuses on average prices in the market - Uklon tariffs are not higher and not lower when compared with other services and services [5] . Since May 2017, Uklon introduced a system of changes in prices [9] depending on the workload and level of demand instead of the static tariffs that were in force earlier. For this, the system takes into account the number of orders, the presence of drivers and traffic congestion.
Criticism
The network has negative reviews about the service. Most often, Uklon is criticized for the inappropriate behavior of drivers and for the unwillingness of some taxi drivers to fulfill the received order on the conditions on which they accepted it [5] .
Quality Control
Uklon has its own round-the-clock call center to support customers and drivers who work with the service. In addition, passengers can evaluate the quality of drivers, partners with low ratings are blocked access to the service. Sometimes, based on passenger complaints, whole taxi dispatch services are disconnected from the service [7] .
