Dubbed ( dates Dybvad ) is a small town in the north of Denmark (Northern Jutland region) in the eastern part of Vensussel-Thy commune ( dates. Vendsyssel -Thy ) with a population of 615 inhabitants ( 2015 ), located about 12 km south-west of the town of Szby (Sæby) , about 6 km north-east of the city of Flauenskjold .

City History
The history of the city originates from the eponymous railway station, between the cities of Fieritslev ( dates. Fjerritslev ) and Frederikshaun ( Frederikshavn ), the construction of which was completed in 1899 . The first FFJ train arrived at Dybvad station on July 17, 1899.
Simultaneously with the construction of the station, the first boiling plant was built, which was a pioneer of the heavy industry of the city, workshops, a market, shops and the first residential quarters. Established working settlements, such as for example Rugholmsvej, named after the simple worker Nils Rugolm (Niels Rugholm), who laid the first stone in the construction of the road between the settlement and the brick factory.
In 1907, the branch was opened Bank S Сby Sæby Bank . The infrastructure of the city developed dynamically - in 1913 the first power station was built, and in 1919 the water supply and sewage systems were carried out in the city. A red water tower was built, which is painted on the coat of arms of the city.
Architecture
The architecture of Dyubvada is designed in the style traditional for this region. The houses of 1900-1930 have been preserved buildings that are of architectural value and reflect the cultural traditions of the time, which is rarely found in small towns.
A distinctive feature of the city are the buildings of red brick, produced at the local brick factory, in particular the building of the railway station and some buildings in the city, which survived after World War II.
1940 - 45 years
In 1940, 940 people lived in Dбbwade, the largest number in the history of the city. During the years of World War II, the city was severely destroyed, almost the entire industrial complex was destroyed, and the population decreased.
After the war
The postwar years were very difficult for the city.
In 1966, a new industrial zone was built in the northeastern part of the city, including mechanical engineering and metallurgy, and a steel plant was opened.

Each year the city hosts the Dubbade Music Festival.
