Form liners ( Form liners ) - liners for billing concrete surfaces used in the design of walls made of reinforced concrete and concrete . Also used for lining formwork (to facilitate formwork). Using liners often leads to more attractive walls for roads, neighborhoods, beaches and parks. [1] The shape of liners come in various shapes and designs, and leads to different results on concrete.
The process of designing liners usually begins with determining the aesthetic interests of the customer where the wall will be installed. Conceptual drawings are prepared by the design team and presented for approval. After the drawings are accepted in the quarter by the construction team, the drawings evolve into a sculptural creation. The sculptor can create an original work using fillers: clay, polyurethane or wax.
Textures such as formwork inserts were popularized in the early 1970s with graphic inserts. A wall made in this style, located in Morgan City, Los Angeles is the first example of the use of graphic elements in formwork inserts.
