Choyda Jamzo

Choida Jamzo ( born Choida Jamtsho ; March 17, 1965 ) - Bhutanese politician , member of the National Assembly of Bhutan from the " Party of Peace and Prosperity " [1] .

Biography

Choyd Jamzo was born on March 17, 1965 in Bhutan. He served in the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Bhutan in the M-01 unit until 2003 , in 1990 - 1992 he performed special duties during the census in the southern districts [2] . Choida Jamzo was educated at Sherubets College in Bhutan. In 1989, he received a bachelor ’s degree in commerce. After that, he entered the University of East Anglia , which he graduated in 2005 and received a master ’s degree in environmentalism, and received a degree in accounting from Emil Wolfe’s college [2] . Choyda Giamtso has several certifications in the field of audit and has begun his career as an auditor. In 2005, he headed the audit department. In 2007 he joined the Party of Peace and Prosperity. On March 24, 2008, the party participated in the first democratic parliamentary elections in Bhutan . According to the election results, the party took 45 out of 47 seats in the National Assembly [3] and Choyda Jamzo became a deputy from the Nganglam district ( Eng. Nganglam , which includes the gevogs , and ), receiving 3,580 votes out of 3,955 [2] . In the elections that took place on July 13, 2013, the “Party of Peace and Prosperity” won 32 seats of the National Assembly of Bhutan, Choyda Jamzo managed to maintain his seat in parliament [4] . He is married and has a daughter and a son [2] .
