Heinrich Scholz ( him. Heinrich Scholz ; December 11, 1933 , Friedrichshain , Lower Lusatia - March 1, 2003 ) - German economist, Minister of Transport of the GDR in 1989–1990.

Biography
The son of a salesman Heinrich Scholz, after graduating from the public school in 1948-1951, studied at an industrial merchant. In 1948, he joined the SSNM and OTSNP . In 1951-1956 he worked as an accountant in the State Financial Audit of the GDR, in 1956-1961 he supervised the accounting department of the GDR airline Deutsche Lufthansa . In 1958, Scholz joined the SED and until 1963 he studied at the correspondence department of the Higher School of Economics, where he received a degree in economics. In 1961–1973, Scholz worked for Interflug Airlines, where he headed a department, a department and served as deputy general director.
In 1973, Scholz went to work at the Ministry of Transport, where he began as deputy head of the planning department, then held the position of head of the main department of economics. In 1980-1986 he was Deputy Minister, in 1986-1989 - State Secretary. In the government of Hans Modrov from November 1989 he served as Minister of Transport and General Director of the GDR railways . On December 6, 1989, he was replaced by Herbert Keddi as head of the railways; in February 1990, Scholz resigned as minister.
