History
The natural monument was created by Decree of the Council of Ministers of the Ukrainian SSR dated August 30, 1990 No. 18. The regulation on environmental status was approved by Order of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources dated December 12, 2012 No. 632.
The park was founded in the late 19th century by the owner of this estate, businessman Ivan Kharitonenko . After the October Revolution, the park and the manor fell into decay. According to the statement of the rector of Sumy Agrarian University, work is planned to renew the park.
