Career
Pupil of Nizhnekamsk football, coach Y. Tutov. In 1991 he made his debut as part of Neftekhimik in the 7th zone of the second lower league of the championship of the USSR. He spent most of his career in the Nizhnekamsk club. Kostanay played the first half of the 2005 season at the Tobol Kazakhstan club, returned to Neftekhimik in the summer and ended his career at the end of the season.
In 2006-2015, he worked in the coaching staff of Neftekhimik and was the club’s head coach. In the 2011/2012 season he brought Neftekhimik to the FNL . December 30, 2015 was appointed head coach of the youth team of Kazan “Rubin” [1] . Since 2018, he has been the head coach of the Neftekhimik take in the Tatarstan championship [2] .
