Charles John Darling, 1st Baron Darling (1849-1936)
Baron Darling of Langam in Essex is the ancestral title in the United Kingdom Peer system. It was created on January 12, 1924 for Sir Charles Darling (1849-1936), a former Conservative Member of Parliament from Deptford (1888-1897) and a judge of the High Court . As of 2010, the title holder was his great-grandson, Robert Julian Henry Darling, 3rd Baron Darling (born 1944 ), who succeeded his father in 2003 .
