History

The village of Podlesnoye was first mentioned in an extract from scribe books from 1553 under the name of the village of Vypolzovo, belonging to the Theological Monastery. Since 1573, the settlement has been called a village, in documents dated to the 17th century two names of the village appear: Podlesnoye and Vypolzovo, but in the 18th-19th centuries only one name remains: Podlesnoye, that is, located near the forest . I. V. Dobrolyubov also mentions the name "Old Theologian", after the name of the village church [2] .

In 1573, the wooden church of St. John the Evangelist was built in the village, and in 1817 a brick church , which is currently in ruined condition [3] .

Podlesnoe Manor

The estate was founded at the beginning of the 19th century by Major D. M. Norov (1752–1832), married to A. A. Rakitina (born 1770). Then, to their son of the guard, staff captain and gentleman N. D. Norov (1797-1830) with his wife A. N. Norova.

The abandoned church of St. John the Evangelist of 1817 in the classicism style, built by D. M. Norov instead of the old wooden one and the pond, has been preserved. The temple owner and his son were buried near the church, later the tombstones were transported to the village of Podvyazye (Ryazan district), which belonged to their family, where they are still located near the parish church of Michael the Archangel of the late XIX century.

Dm. and A. A. Norov owned the Nasurovo estate [4] .
