Biography

Tatyana Belyaeva was born on October 2, 1971 in the city of Lviv, Ukrainian SSR . Actively engaged in judo began at the age of fifteen.

For the first time, she made herself known in the 1989 season, when she won bronze medals at the USSR Open Women's Championship in Kaunas and at the international junior tournament in Poland. Two years later, she made her debut in the adult World Cup, in particular, took the fifth place at the stage in Munich. In 1992, in the CIS team won a bronze medal at the European team championship in Leonding.

After the final collapse of the Soviet Union, Belyaeva entered the main team of the national team of Ukraine and continued to take part in major international tournaments. So, in 1994, she won a silver medal at an international tournament in Bucharest, took fifth place at the European Championships in Gdansk, received a bronze medal at the Goodwill Games in St. Petersburg , became a silver medalist at the World Championships in Münster. The next season was the fifth at the World Cup in Paris and Prague, visited the world championship in the Japanese Tiba, from which she brought the bronze dignity award won in the light heavyweight category - the only defeat suffered here from the titled Belgian Ulla Verbrook .

In 1996, Belyaeva took the seventh place at the European Championships in The Hague and, thanks to a series of successful performances, was awarded the right to defend the honor of the country at the Atlanta Summer Olympics . As a result, became the fifth here, losing to the same Belgian Verbrook and Cuban representative Diadenis Luna .

At various stages of the World Cup, 1997 won silver and bronze medals. A year later, at similar competitions she won bronze, moreover, she took the seventh place at the European Championship in Spanish Oviedo and won the international A-class tournament in Minsk. In 1998 she was awarded a bronze medal at the stage of the World Cup in Prague, became the fifth in the European championship in Bratislava.

The last time showed any significant results in the international arena in the 2000 season, when she won silver medals at the World Cup in Minsk and Prague, as well as a bronze medal at the stage in Warsaw. Being among the leaders of the judo team of Ukraine, she successfully passed the qualification for the Olympic Games in Sydney - this time in the first fight she was defeated by the Japanese Masae Ueno and lost all chances of getting into the prizes. Soon after the end of these competitions, she decided to end her career as a professional athlete, giving way to the team of young Ukrainian judo players.

In addition to performing in judo, she also regularly participated in sambo competitions. In 1992 she became the champion of Europe in sambo, in 1996 she won the world championship. For outstanding sporting achievements awarded the honorary title " Master of Sports of Ukraine of international class ."

She has a higher education, graduated from Ivan Ogienko National University of Kamenetz-Podolsk , where she studied at the Faculty of Physical Culture. In 2005, after completing her sports career, she took the position of Director of the Spartak Sports School in the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council, and in 2012–2014 she headed the Specialized School for Children and Youth Sport School No. 6 in Dnipropetrovsk . As a trainer, she has trained many talented female judo players , including her students such famous female judo players as Svetlana Chepurina , Yana Kryukova , Ekaterina Lyalina , Oksana Kravchenko . Awarded the title of Honored Coach of Ukraine .

In 2014, she moved to permanent residence in Tyumen , currently working as a trainer and teacher at the State Autonomous Institution of Additional Education of the Tyumen Region “Center for Olympic Training“ Tyumen Judo ”.
