Creating a shelf
The 307th Fighter Aviation Regiment began to be formed on December 13, 1940 as part of the Air Force of the Far Eastern Front on the basis of personnel from units of the DVF Air Force 15/21 on I-15bis and I-16 airplanes.
Disbanding the regiment
On September 15, 1960, the 307th Fighter Aviation Regiment due to significant reductions in the Armed Forces of the USSR was disbanded as part of the 110th Fighter Aviation Sakhalin Division of the 1st Air Army of the Far Eastern Military District at the Iturup Island Petrel Boulder Airfield.

The 307th Fighter Aviation Regiment for the exemplary execution of command assignments in battles with Japanese troops in the Far East while crossing the Amur and Ussuri rivers , taking the cities of Jiamusi, Mergeni, Eianzhen, the southern half of Sakhalin Island, and the islands of Syumusyu and Paramushir from the Kuril Islands and the valor and courage shown at the same time by the Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR on September 14, 1945, was awarded the Order of the Red Star .
